Right in the heart of DonGalo is one of the original Tapsilogan. If my memory serves me right, I had been eating here since the early eighties at 1.35pesos per BBQ and somewhere between 5.00 per set of Tapsilog. Before, the Tapa had that distinctive “latik” flavor due to usage of coconut oil, rendering sweetness one could never forget. That is maybe why people keeps coming back. The tongue never forgets, it always seek what pleasures it.
